Image Resources Group engaged TAF Solutions, on behalf of Subsea 7, to design and produce a three-minute 2D motion graphics training video. The goal: clearly explain the Uncomfortable Gauge concept using clean visuals, dynamic animation, and engaging storytelling—while staying fully aligned with the visual style of a previous Subsea 7 project. This piece will serve as a reusable training asset for teams who need to quickly understand how the gauge works and why it matters in the field.
Subsea 7 is a global leader in offshore energy projects and services. Image Resources Group (IRG) supports Subsea 7 with learning and communication content, and needed a concise, visually consistent video to add to their training materials. The Uncomfortable Gauge is a key concept in safety and operational awareness, and the video must make it easy for engineers, supervisors, and offshore teams to understand and apply it in real-world scenarios.
By packaging the Uncomfortable Gauge into a concise, three-minute 2D motion graphics film, Subsea 7 and Image Resources Group gain a reliable, repeatable training asset. New team members, offshore crews, and project stakeholders can quickly grasp how the gauge works, what the different states mean, and how to respond when conditions become “uncomfortable.”
TAF Solutions partners with technical teams, safety leaders, and learning organizations to convert dense concepts into motion graphics that people actually remember. If you have a process, gauge, or model that needs to be seen—not just read—we’re ready to help.
TAF Solutions creates motion graphics, explainer videos, and digital training assets that help technical teams communicate clearly, train consistently, and operate more safely.
